- Turn on your computer and then open the Microsoft Outlook 2010 program. At the top of the page, click on Tools and then select Account Settings. From Account Settings, select Email Accounts.
- You may then click on the New button that is located under the Email tab.
- Check the box that is located at the bottom near Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- You will be able to see either the Choose Email Service (POP, IMAP, HTTP) or the user’s settings window with Manually configure server settings or additional server types.
- The important point is that you should check the box named Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then select the type of email service for the particular account. It can be POP or IMAP.
- As the next step, select Internet Email, or Microsoft Exchange, IMAP, POP3 or HTTP depending on the screen that you are on.
- Type in the following details correctly,
E-mail Address: email@domain.tld
Incoming mail server (POP3): mail.domain.tld
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): mail.domain.tld
User Name: email.domain.tld
Password: Type in the password that you have specified in the EasyMail Setup
- You can then click on the More Settings button that is located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
- Select the Outgoing Server tab that is located at the top of the screen.
- Select the box named My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and then ensure that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server option is selected.
- Now you may click on the Advanced tab at the top of the window.
- You can now click on the OK button, then on the Next button and then Finish. Doing these steps will let you send and receive the email messages.
