Outlook Web Access (OWA) allows users to configure their email accounts in it in order to use them in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server. After configuring your email account in Outlook Web Access, you are free to download your global address book, the OWA version of Outlook Address book. Downloading a copy of your Global address book will enable you to access it even when there is no internet connection. However, permission to download the Global address book is restricted. You are allowed to download the contact information of only a single contact at a time.

- Launch Internet Explorer web browser by double-clicking the IE icon on your desktop. If you have not created an IE desktop icon, navigate to the Start menu and select Internet Explorer from the resulting menu.
- Enter the sign in page URL of Outlook Web Access in the address bar of IE in order to load the page.
- When the page has loaded, locate the fields to enter the login credentials. Type your username and password in the respective fields to sign into your Outlook Web Access Account. Make sure that you type the username and password correctly. Wrongly spelt username or password would lead to login error.
- Once you are into your Outlook Web Access account, navigate to the Tools option which is located at side top left side of the navigation bar.
- Open the Send/Receive submenu by pressing the Send/Receive button.
- Following that, go the submenu and select the option that says Download Address Book. This will open the Offline Address Book.
- Select the checkbox before Download Changes Since Last Send/Receive.
- Now, start downloading details and notes associated with each contact. To download full details of each contact, press the Radio button labelled Full Details. If you want to download only the contact details and no associated notes, select the option that says No Details.
- After that, select the option titled Choose Address Book. A dropdown menu will be popped up now. Select Global Address List option from the dropdown menu, and press OK to proceed. This will download Global Address Book to your PC.
