run on Windows operating system. The tech giants have already released several
versions of Windows operating system. All the versions come with a set of
preinstalled programs and applications. One such program that comes bundled
with the Windows OS is the built-in instant messaging program called Windows
Messenger.
Using this program, you can send out a message to other
users in your contact list. Now, if you would like to install other messaging
applications such as Windows Live Messenger, then you need to first uninstall

Before you start out the process, you need to
make sure that you close down all the programs and applications that are
currently running. This is to make sure that they do not interfere with the
process and to avoid loss of work.

Next up, you need to go to the Windows Start menu that is located on the left
side bottom corner of your computer screen and then click on the icon that is
named as Control Panel. The Control
Panel window contains various configurations of your Windows computer that you
can modify.

Once you do that, you need to double-click on
the option that reads Add or Remove
Programs. Doing so will bring up a list of all currently installed programs
or applications. After that, you need to click on the Add or Remove Windows Components option on the left-hand side of
your computer screen. All installed or preinstalled Windows components will be
displayed.

Following which you need to navigate to the Windows Messenger program and remove
the check sign from the box besides to it.

Now, you need to hit the Next button. This will begin the uninstallation process. When the
process is complete, you need to hit Finish.

Finally, you need to restart the computer once
the uninstall process is complete. Doing so will save all the changes that you
have made to your computer.
