  • Go to the tab Advanced.
  • Mark the option This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  • The above step will automatically change the Incoming server (POP3) number to 995. If it does not, manually enter 995 in the box. 
  • Select SSL in the drop down box for Use the following type of encrypted connection.
  • In the field for Outgoing server (SMTP), enter 465 as the port number.
  • Mark the option Leave a copy of messages on the server, if you do not want to remove the emails from the server.
  • Select the option OK and then Next in the window for Add new e-mail account.
  • Choose the option Finish to complete the Outlook email setup.

How To Archive Emails In Outlook

  • You can check the status of the archiving process by checking in the lower right-hand corner from your Outlook window. A message will appear displaying he archive process. Once the archiving process is completed this message will disappear.
