Print Tools In Microsoft Outlook

Outlook application is an email client that Microsoft provides as a part of their Office suite of programs. The Outlook program is so versatile that it allows the users to send, receive and manage their email account easily and efficiently. The main feature of the program is that it allows the users to manage more than one email account.
Using this feature, the user will be able to keep a balance between his contacts in office and personal contacts. Apart from being an email manager program, the Outlook client also provides various Microsoft Outlook tools for the users to make tasks easier like the notes feature, calendar and scheduler etc.
The program has various Microsoft Outlook tools embedded in it for making the printing process easier to customize. Below we discuss some of the major tools found in Outlook for helping you print a file in the Outlook program.

Page Setup

You can change the settings of the page you wish to print using the Page Setup tool. Some of the main features in the page setup tool are defining and editing of printing style, changing the page orientation, size and margins, adding and removing of the headers and footers usually associated with the Outlook files etc. Using this tool, Outlook users will be able to change the basic page settings so as to meet their requirements.

Print Preview

This tool is used for checking the preview of the item to be printed using the current page settings and print options. This tool can be used before printing for verifying if every data in the page is displayed in the print image or not. It is wise to view the document to be printed in the Print Preview option before actually sending the documents for printing.

Print Dialog Box

When you send a document for printing, the Print Dialog box will appear on the screen. It is this tool that initiates the actual printing of the Outlook item. Using this tool, you will be able to change the destination printer if you do posses more than one printer and change the print preferences like the mode of printing, number of copies to make, the range of pages to be printed etc. This tool also helps you to access the Page Setup and Print Preview tools that we discussed above.
These are the various print tools available in Outlook that help you to take prints in an easy and effective manner.
