How To Enable Administrator Access For A Windows Account

  • Click the Start button and choose Control Panel from the Start menu.
  • Now the Control Panel window will appear on screen.
  • Choose the User Accounts icon.
  • Towards the end of the window, you can see your account icon. Click it.
  • Information regarding your account can be seen.
  • The Change My Account Type option has to be clicked.
  • Computer Administrator has to be selected.
  • The Change Account Type option has to be clicked.
