How To Forward Outlook Express Email Messages In The Original Format

Outlook Express is an email client program that is present by default in operating systems like Windows XP. This email client program helps you to configure your internet emails and thereby avoid the trouble of logging into the email accounts for viewing the emails.

Now, when you receive an interesting email in the Outlook Express account, you would certainly love to forward it to your friends. However, if the receiver of the email has set a rule to delete forwarded emails, your email would be deleted without the sender opening it. Now, in such cases, you can make the email look original instead of simply forwarding it. In this Outlook Express help section, we will find out the steps involved in this process.

Steps Involved
  • Launch Outlook Express from the list of All Programs in the Start menu.
  • Once the Outlook Express window opens, select the Inbox folder in the program. Navigate to the email in the Inbox folder, which you wish to forward.
  • Select the email and open it.
  • Select the option Forward, which you will find on top of the window.
  • Select the field for Subject and then choose the portion of the text that begins with FWD: Keep pressing the Backspace key and this will delete the contents in this field.
  • Select the main body of the message. Choose the text found at the top of the main content of the original message. Click the mouse and drag it down until you select the email addresses to which this email was forwarded or sent.
  • Press the Delete button or use the backspace key to delete these contents from the message body. You may also add contents to the email message in this portion.
  • Enter the email addresses or addresses to which you wish to forward this email in the fields for To, CC or BCC.
  • Select the button Send.
With the above step, you have sent the email like an original message and not like a forwarded message. The other person, on receiving this message, will not find this message as a forwarded one. In case of Outlook Express, the program identifies this message as an original one and even if rules are set to delete forwarded emails, this message will not be deleted.
